Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has opened two new branches in the City Center and Al Yarmouk)Almera complex), as part of its strategy to bring to 35 the number of its branch network within a 5-year period.
Mr. Al Jaidah confirmed that QIB is and will always endeavor to offer standardized and diversified services that offer to customers a wide range of banking services and tools in addition to the utilization of their savings in high-yield investments. He mentioned in that respect that the bank offers good opportunities ranging from bank deposits and investment funds/portfolios mainly in properties and Shari'a-compatible shares; latest of these was the 'Sanabel' Sukuk Fund currently offered to public for subscription.
The CEO of Qatar Islamic Bank confirmed in conclusion that the growth currently witnessed in Islamic banking evidences the leading role QIB has successfully assumed in ensuring this type of services over 25 years. He finally expected that Islamic banks would double their market share in Qatar within a relatively short period.
Further, the bank's aim from opening branches in commercial complexes or consumers societies is to ease to customers their procurements and at the same time execute their banking dealings in places that provide comprehensive services in addition to saving their time and effort.
