Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority to showcase Abu Dhabi's tourism potential at ILTM

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), the apex body that manages Abu Dhabi's tourism sector, is showcasing the tourism potential and achievements of the emirate at the ILTM exhibition being held from 3rd - 6th December in Cannes, France.

ADTA is a co-exhibitor at the global expo, which revolutionized the concept of trade-to-trade exhibitions and positions participants firmly in the global tourism spotlight. The world's leading decision makers in the tourism sector are expected to attend the event, where ADTA is leading a strong contingent of the key players in Abu Dhabi's tourism sector.

Highlighting some of the notable tourism-related accomplishments and facilities provided by the emirate, the expo will feature three dedicated booth stations for Emirates Palace, Royal Jet and Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri.
ILTM has a confirmed participation of over 1300 hosted buyers representing various sectors of tourism including leisure, corporate, incentive and events.

HE Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, ADTA Chairman said: "ILTM is one of the premier tourism exhibitions in the world, and through our participation, we are furthering the global appeal gained by Abu Dhabi through our strategic presence in key global travel expos. ADTA's dedicated Exhibitor Zone will showcase the eclectic tourism spread of the emirate and will feature displays of the some of the key attractions of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Brochures will be distributed to visitors, and facilities will be arranged for representatives of ADTA's delegation to effectively interact with the trade visitors and thus, further their business.

Sectors participating at ILTM include adventure travel, business travel, conference organizers, eco-tourism specialists, events organizers, group travel organizers, luxury brand providers, incentive travel organizers and online travel providers, among others.

* The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) was established in September 2004. It has wide ranging responsibilities for building and developing the emirate's tourism industry. These include; destination marketing; infrastructure and product development; and regulation and classification. A key role is to create synergy in the international promotion of Abu Dhabi through close coordination with the emirate's hotels, destination management companies, airlines and other public and private sector travel-related organizations.
