Mr. Henri de Castries, AXA Group Chief Executive Officer officially opened AXA's new Service unit at Dubai Outsourcing Zone.
The service unit consolidates in one place AXA's claim handling and back end processing to ensure a better customer experience.

Mr. Castries is on a visit to the Gulf to discuss the company's expansion plans within the region and to support AXA Gulf's efforts towards becoming the Preferred Company for its clients.

The opening of the AXA Service unit in Dubai's Outsourcing Zone marks a significant move to make the motor claim process simpler and more customer-friendly. A customer now no longer needs to visit the AXA claims office to register a claim, he/she can simply do it over the phone. Moreover AXA's unique Valet service allows clients to have a replacement car delivered to them whilst their car is taken to the garage to be fixed.

"This is just one of the many initiatives we are making to build a strong differentiation within the customer's mindset." says Andrea Rossi, AXA Gulf CEO. "We are now the market leader in motor insurance and we're working hard to improve the quality of our relationship with our customers by making it simpler to do business with us and by providing innovative solutions."

Says Henri de Castries, "AXA Insurance Gulf turned in an excellent performance this year. The region's economic environment is supportive and we are beginning to reap the benefits of our international best practices, improved processes and employee engagement. We continue to be committed to the region and you can expect more announcements to that effect in the near future. "

Mr. Castries' visit follows a recent announcement that Qatar Petroleum awarded its healthcare scheme to AXA Insurance Gulf - a move which allows the company to provide a comprehensive insurance scheme to as many as 12,000 QP employees and 23,000 of their dependants.
