All ISNR Abu Dhabi exhibitors will be provided with access to the 'VIP delegation e-management system', enabling them to set up meetings to explore business opportunities. The system lists all delegations visiting the show and may also indicate their interests and priorities. Once an exhibitor logs in and seeks an appointment with a delegation during the event, the system automatically generates an agenda with a confirmed time and date for the meeting.
According to Mohamad Nabhani, Show Director for ISNR Abu Dhabi at Reed Exhibitions Middle East, the launch of the e-management system is in line with Reed's commitment to optimize business opportunities and provide excellent return on investment for both exhibitors and visitors. "We expect the ISNR Abu Dhabi e-management system to help delegations plan their schedules at the event while ensuring that exhibitors are able to zero-in on high-value business prospects", he said.
ISNR Abu Dhabi Exhibition & Conference will be held under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The UAE Ministry of Interior and its affiliate organizations will collaborate with Reed in organizing the show, which will occupy four halls at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre.
"The Ministry of Interior will invite official delegations from more than 30 countries from around the world to the event. Most of these delegations will be led by top officials such as the Ministers of Interior, Chiefs of Defense & Security, and Heads of National Security Organizations, and will include senior officials involved in the development, selection and procurement of security systems and equipment in their respective organizations,"
said Brigadier Matar Al Nayadi from the UAE Ministry of Interior.
A study commissioned by Reed Exhibitions in preparation for ISNR had concluded that the Middle East's security market will be worth over Dhs7.7bn next year (2008) and will grow over 50%to reach Dhs11.8bn in 2013. In 1998 security spending in the region was just over Dhs2.9bn.
Global players including EADS, Thales, Sagem, Allen-Vanguard, Britten-Norman and Plextek, Honeywell, IBCOL, IGG, Denel, Gunnebo, Bachmann, Zenon, Escape, Dallmeier, ADCOM, MP3 International, Nabooda, EAE, Advanced Integrated Systems, Avon Protection, Dascam Consulting and the Al Hamra Group have confirmed their participation at the show. With the impressive response, ISNR Abu Dhabi is poised to occupy a gross exhibit area of over 13,000 square metres.
Highlighting the close cooperation between Reed Exhibitions and top government authorities in the conduct of the show, Brigadier Al Nayadi said: "The UAE Ministry of Interior (MOI) and its affiliate organizations are collaborating closely with Reed Exhibitions on ISNR Abu Dhabi because we want to ensure that the exhibition and conference will offer information on the most advanced security equipment and systems relevant to this region as well as on security management. Over 30 delegations including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan will be hosted by the UAE Ministry of Interior at the show."
"We are very pleased that Reed has taken the initiative to introduce a system of on-line management of appointments and delegate schedules. This will certainly make it much easier for exhibitors and delegations to hold business discussions and conclude agreements," he added.
The ISNR conference on March 1, 2008 is being organized by INEGMA (Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis) in close collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Interior. The conference under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will feature high caliber specialist speakers including heads of police, international security experts and top officials.
The conference will discuss important homeland security topics such as early warning and defense preparedness, immunity against catastrophic events and infrastructure protection. INEGMA, the organizer of the ISNR Abu Dhabi conference, also organizes key security and defense conferences such as Middle East Air Chiefs' Conference held alongside the Dubai Air Show and the Middle East Special Operations Forces Conference held at SOFEX in Jordan.
ISNR Abu Dhabi is the second leg in the ISNR series and follows ISNR London which will be held 2-5 December 2007 at the National Hall, Olympia, London.
