- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, December 05 - 2007 at 16:02
- PRESS RELEASE
MENA Business Services (MBS), a leading regional provider of Contact Centres, Medical Transcription, Call Center Training Services and Business Process Outsourcing Consultancy, announced today it will move to Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ), one of the world's premier offshore outsourcing hubs, to further consolidate its regional operations.
Ali Al Hashmi, Chairman and CEO, MBS, said: "The outsourcing industry in the Middle East, and especially in the GCC, is growing rapidly, and our business envisages more promising prospects in the coming years. Our decision to move into DOZ is in line with our mission to deliver a secure, reliable and consistent quality of outsourcing services.
"The move will not only allow us to expand our service footprint in the GCC, it will also help us create optimum synergy with our clientele. The worthy infrastructure and the good services offered by DOZ give additional advantages that will complement our regional operations."
The outsourcing industry in the region has remained vibrant over recent years, with plenty of growth opportunity. According to the global market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC), the outsourcing sector in the UAE is projected to grow by 16 per cent in 2007 to reach AED347 million. The DOZ seeks to leverage this opportunity, resulting from the region's fast-expanding economies.
Ismail Al Naqi, Director of DOZ, said: "With assured growth in the Middle East outsourcing sector, DOZ will see more regional brands opting for the free zone as their location of choice.
"Our objective is to create synergies among service providers, captive units and related businesses. MBS will bring great value to the zone's business partner portfolio."
DOZ has already increased its master plan to 10 times its original size due to heavy demand from local and international outsourcing companies. The zone has seen its total area increase from three million sq ft to 33 million sq ft.
