BIPEX 2007 attracts over 12,000 visitors; emerges as one of the largest property exhibitions in GCC

Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) today announced that the Bahrain International Property Exhibition 2007 (BIPEX 2007) which was held under the patronage of H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, Kingdom of Bahrain attracted over 12,000 visitors.

Commenting on the success of BIPEX 2007, Mr. Mohammed Khalil Alsayed, President, Bahrain Society of Engineers, said: 'We are delighted to announce that the response for BIPEX 2007 has surpassed our expectations and the exhibition has been appreciated by a wide audience. BIPEX 2007 attracted over 12,000 visitors with real estate sector assets worth $38bn being showcased, thus making it a grand success.'

Spread over a total area of 6,000 sq. mt., BIPEX 2007 was held in its fourth year at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre. It was supported by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry and sponsored by major property developers such as Ithmaar Development Bank, Al Argan Bahrain, Riffa Views, Al Areen, TABREED Bahrain, BAZ Real Estates, Marina West, TAIBA, Gulf Holding Company, Top Real Estate, Abraj Al Lulu & BATELCO.
