2nd Dubai Lynx awards opens for entries

The 2nd Dubai Lynx awards, the leading creative advertising competition for the Middle East and North Africa, has now opened for entries.
"Building on the successful launch of the 1st Dubai Lynx awards last year, we aim to bring to the region another great event where the best creative work will be judged and showcased, including work in the newly introduced Media category," commented Steve Lane, Dubai Lynx Festival Director.
The competing work will be judged during the Dubai International Advertising Festival by 29 leading creatives from 16 different countries from around the globe. Piyush Pandey, Executive Chairman and National Creative Director of Ogilvy India & South Asia will chair the TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Radio jury as well as the Integrated jury. The jury presidents for the Direct and Interactive jury and the inaugural Media jury will be announced shortly.
The winners will be revealed and honoured on the 2nd of April 2008 during the 1st Dubai International Advertising Festival to be held at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, where a 3-day programme of seminars and workshops addressing both regional and international industry issues will take place.

The 1st Dubai International Advertising Festival incorporating the 2nd Dubai Lynx Awards, The Middle East and North Africa Advertising Awards for Creative Excellence, will be held 31 March - 2 April 2008 in Dubai, UAE.
