Italian luxury travel manazine awards Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort, Al Areen

The property was selected based on evaluations of the top 100 resorts. The factors and criteria used to compile the list include natural setting, design, service, cuisine, space, silence, view and villa furnishing. Particular attention is placed on health: hypo-caloric foods on the menu, spaces for sports activities and the spa.

In addition, Resorts Web Magazine ranked Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort, Al Areen 31st in the World's Top 100 Resorts 2007 list. There are only seven resorts in the Middle East region included in the list and Banyan Tree Al Areen is the only listed resort in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Resorts are chosen world-wide for their pleasant setting, originality of the architecture, attentive and discreet service, health and well-being facilities.
