The island-nation's trademark annual dance music festival will feature some of the world's top international DJs.

Already in its 7th season, the high-energy extravaganza will unite tens of thousands of clubbers and music enthusiasts from around the world at the famed Siloso beach, which transforms into an exuberant outdoor party from dusk until dawn.

Singapore is a premier events destination in Asia and is rapidly gaining a reputation for its unique nightlife, which offers a safe, yet exciting and fast-paced entertainment scene for travellers from the Middle East.

'Our Annual ZoukOut Festival has become one of Singapore's signature events. It has a strong local fan base, whilst attracting an increasing number of Middle East travellers who come specifically to attend this high octane event,' said Siew-Kheng Kang, Regional Director for South Asia, Middle East & Africa, Singapore Tourism Board.

'Last year, ZoukOut welcomed a record turnout of 20,000 revellers. This is a testament of its standing in the global music and entertainment scene, profiling Singapore as a leading entertainment capital in Asia,' she added.

Over the course of a four-stage show spanning 56,000 sq ft across the beach, a stellar line-up of international DJ's will sample a diverse range of musical genres including house, tribal, techno, trance, electronic, indie, hip hop and Mambo Jambo music.

The event will also welcome for the first time Carl Cox, the legendary godfather of UK techno, as well as returning favourite and international DJ superstar, Armin Van Buuren. Other artists will include eclectic soul meister Giles Peterson, three-time DMC World Championship winner DJ Craze, freestyle champion MC Armanni, as well as numerous local acts.

In addition to these performances, this year's event will re-create a pulsating entertainment wonderland, including free carnival rides, gaming booths, food vendors, drumming sessions, palm & card readings, and unusual world dancers and performers. Also making its debut is the Euro-slide - the largest inflatable water slide ever seen in Asia.

Collaborating with ZoukOut for the first time is youthful clothing designer Rip Curl, who will be jointly presenting an exclusive range of beach-inspired designs that honour both the event's celebration of the surreal and Rip Curl's youthful beach culture.

ZoukOut is part of a host of fun loving activities throughout the year that highlights Singapore's diverse events and entertainment industry, which includes a selection of high calibre entertainment that travelers from across the region can enjoy.

This is complemented by other lifestyle options available in Singapore, including its exquisite local and international cuisine, world-class stage events, and numerous themed spas which are available all year round.

From concerts and sporting events - to opera and ballet - Singapore Tourism Board works closely with some of the world's leading event organizers and producers to bring a diverse line-up of high-profile shows throughout the year.
