RAK Properties sponsors Al Hamra island cleanup campaign

RAK Properties PJSC, Ras Al Khaimah largest property developer sponsored Al Hamra Island environmental cleanup part of the 'Cleanup Ras Al Khaimah' campaign launched by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, Environment Protection and Development Authority.
Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, Managing Director, Rak Properties said, "we are proud to be a part of Al Hamra Village cleanup campaign initiated by the RAK Environment and Development Authority which complements His Highness vision, Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah in creating a cleaner environment.
Thanking the organisers and participants of the event, Al Qadi added, "We appreciate the co-operative efforts of students, individuals, governmental establishments and organisations that helped in encouraging socially responsible environmental values among the community."
Rak Properties commitment to preserving the environment also extends to the company's Dhs10bn waterfront project, Mina Al Arab where more that half of the project is ecologically preserved.
RAK Properties, a Public Joint Stock Company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, is a real estate development company that operates in a sector that is enjoying an economic boom. It is established to implement the emirates plans to promote real estate, tourism and leisure facilities in RAK and invest in interesting projects. It is intended that its activities will encourage economic growth in the UAE in general and Ras Al Khaimah in particular. The company launched its first project, Julfar Towers - a 43-storied twin office and residential project at a cost of AED 500 million - in February 2006 followed by Mina Al Arab - spread over 30 million sq. feet at a cost of Dhs10bn- in May 2006.
