RTA appoints a number of competent nationals in key posts

HE Mattar Al Tayer Chairman of Board of Directors, Executive Director of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), issued decisions to appoint a number of competent nationals to fill key positions in RTA's agencies, departments and sections.
The decisions included the appointment of Naela Mohammed Abdul Rahman Fikri in the post Office Manager for the Office of the Marine Transport Agency CEO. She holds a High Diploma Degree in Business Administration in 1997 from Dubai Women's College. Prior to joining the RTA, Naela occupied a number of positions in the government agencies, including a Senior Officer at the Union National Bank, an Accountant at the Emirates Airlines, in addition to other government and private institutions. She participated in a number of training courses and workshops, including business communication, customer service, an introduction to the civil aviation and other courses.
The appointments also included Mohammed bin Fahd Muhiri in the post of Transport Information Manager at the Planning and Business Development Department of the Public Transport Agency. He holds a Bachelor degree in marketing from the University of California in the United States in 2001, in addition to a Diploma in Social Sciences from the Chaffey College in the United States too.
Al Muhiri occupied a number of posts before joining the RTA, including Consumer Segment Team Leader for Etisalat, in a number of business centers of Etisalat and other positions. He enjoys a number of administrative and managerial skills including the effective selling skills, total quality management and others.
The decisions further included the appointment of Essam Al Fahim in the post of Technical Inspection Manager at the Registration and Licensing Department of the marine Transport Agency. He holds a Bachelor degree in the Naval Science from the University of Karachi of Pakistan in 1998. Al Fahim filled a number of positions before joining the RTA including Head of the Inspection and Interrogation Department of the UAE Coast Guards, in addition to Captain of Patrol Vessels of the Coast Guards. He enjoys a number of technical capabilities and skills within the area of his field.
