- PRESS RELEASE
Downtown Burj Dubai, the flagship property of Emaar Properties, has kick-started activities at its Burj Dubai Boulevard, a long thoroughfare that introduces the boulevard lifestyle experience to Dubai.
"Emaar Properties is committed to being a total lifestyle provider," said Mr Saif Al Mansoori, Sales Director, Emaar Properties.
"Burj Dubai Boulevard is one of the meeting places of residents and visitors at Downtown Burj Dubai, and it forms the leisure and entertainment hub - set to become the true heart and spirit of the city. With the launch of special weekend events, Burj Dubai Boulevard is coming to life to greet more visitors and mark the birth of the first downtown culture within the city. We plan to roll out further phases of activities in 2008, in the lead up to its official launch."
The upcoming weekend activities at Burj Dubai Boulevard include a community event that is open to Emaar residents as well as the public featuring an array of entertainment activities. Visitors will be able to witness Burj Dubai Boulevard coming to life via a multitude of offerings, with children's entertainment as a focus to ensure days full of leisure, entertainment and education for all the family. Visitors can also try their hand at canvas arts, participate in drumming, receive expert consultation and advice from key interior decorators and take part in gardening workshops.
Entry to Burj Dubai Boulevard is free, and is open on Friday December 7, and Saturday December 8, from 2pm to 10pm.
The Dhs73bn ($20bn) Downtown Burj Dubai is the flagship mega project of Emaar Properties and encompasses residential, commercial, hospitality and leisure components set around an expansive lake and the boulevard. At the centre of the development is Burj Dubai, the world's tallest tower. Several residences with Downtown Burj Dubai have already been handed over to residents and three hotels have started functioning within the master-development.
