Nigerian delegation attends e-transformation workshop at Zayed University - Institute For Technological Innovation

A delegation of ten high-level Nigerian government executives recently attended a three day e-Transformation Workshop at Zayed University's Institute for Technological Innovation (ITI).
"The e-Transformation workshop and program will enable the Nigerian delegation to create, sustain and leverage IT to accelerate technology adoption, improve efficiencies and reduce the cost of operation," commented Dr Rahman Haleem - Director of ZU -ITI.
The program also included on site tours to organizations such as: Emerging Technologies, H.H. The Ruler's Court - Dubai Government and The Knowledge and Human Development Authority: who are considered to be an e-transformation success story; organizations which transformed from manual services to providing successful electronic ones; organizations that provide excellent electronic services; and a vendor that provide products that enable excellence in services or cutting edge technology.
"It was our pleasure hosting the Nigerian delegation. We hope our speech recognition solutions will assist them in enabling services that will benefit the public similar to those in the UAE," said Sassine Y. Mazraani Managing Partner, Emerging Technologies.
Okop Umobong - Director IT (INFC) Nigeria, commented on the visit to Emerging Technologies, "It is a revolutionary new interface to computing. Applications are more likely to adopt this voice interface because it is closer to the way we live."
The three day workshop concluded with a certificate ceremony.
