Gulf Air photo exhibition to add colour to National Day celebrations

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, will be adding colour to the upcoming National Day celebrations through a historic photo exhibition.

The exhibition, titled "Now and Then; Gulf Air in Bahrain", will be a visual tour of the Gulf Air's past and the present through a display of 50 large-size reprints.

Some rare photos from the airline's illustrious 57-year history will be displayed in the public exhibition.

"As the aviation pioneer in the region, Gulf Air is very much an integral part of the history and heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the region," says Gulf Air Acting President and Chief Executive Björn Näf.

"Gulf Air is fully committed to aligning itself with the growth and development of the kingdom of Bahrain and it's a matter of pride for Bahrain's flag carrier to be part of this jubilation to promote national sentiments."

The exhibition will be open for public from 12th December until 25 December 2007 at Seef Mall New wing (Gate 8) from 10 am to 10 pm daily.

The photographs will also be on sale for those, who want to own a part of the history of Bahrain's national carrier.
