How do IT departments protect and recover vital data? - is one of the most crucial questions that regional organisations are asking more than ever before.

The channel partner session will be held in partnership with IT distributors Mindware & Future Systems.

"Enterprises cannot afford any interruptions to business continuity caused by system failures especially considering the expansion of business in the Middle East," said Toni Prince, CA's Country Manager for the Levant. "Corporations are naturally becoming concerned with ensuring the protection and recoverability of critical information that drives their business."

CA serves the majority of the Fortune 1000 companies. Customers in the region include Banque Misr, Akzo Nobel, Arab Banking Corporation, Arab Financial Services, Bank of Beirut, Dubai International Financial Centre, Emirates Airlines, Hugo Boss, Saudi Arabian Airlines and many other organizations large and small.

The Middle East and the North Africa region are rapidly developing and IT needs reflect that growth. CA will highlight the importance of a simplified and automated data protection and recovery system for enterprises during the seminar, which will be held at the Marriott Zamalek. With a complete recovery management solution in place, enterprises will not only be able to manage the complexity and risks of their IT systems, but also will reduce costs and meet business continuity requirements.

The seminar will underscore the immediate need for an organization to protect its vital IT assets with superior protection and recovery solutions.

It will feature CA's XOsoft and ARCserve Backup recovery management solutions to demonstrate their capabilities, which deliver rapid deployment, improved service and operational efficiency all while providing savings in time and money.

The Recovery Management event will provide a forum for CA, its customers and its partners in Egypt to express their continued commitment to providing enterprises with more choice in the way data and information is managed and to assist in facing the challenges of today and tomorrow.
