Green education programme

  • United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, December 11 - 2007 at 10:33

In line with the latest directive on green buildings, Watt Stopper/Legrand and the Legrand Company have joined with the Middle East Centre for Sustainable Development (MECSD) to present an education programme in Dubai on green buildings and lighting controls.

The education series supports Dubai's directive to implement green and sustainable building strategies to ensure a healthy and environment-friendly city.

Watt Stopper/Legrand's three-day education programme, beginning on 10 December, allows engineers and electrical installers to learn about green buildings and lighting controls, LEED certification, and ASHRAE energy codes.

These courses will also help lighting professionals learn practical methods for implementing lighting controls. They will then be able to apply their knowledge to their projects and help their country meet the green directive.
