Dell unveils commercial strategy for customers in the UAE

Underlining its commitment to the region, Dell presented its unique solutions strategy for simplifying IT in businesses to customers in the United Arab Emirates.

"Simplifying IT is Dell's vision for the future," said Michael Collins, General Manager for Dell Middle East, "Dell is committed to help solve IT challenges and complexity through standardisation, consolidation and automation of infrastructure in order for customers to save time, resources and operating costs."

A one-day seminar was held in the Shangri-La Hotel in Abu Dhabi where IT specialists from around the Emirates attended the event that included sessions on efficiency, manageability, flexibility and the latest products and services.
The Dell World Technology and Solutions Tour 2007 for Simplifying IT is an informative and ground-breaking programme that Dell has embarked upon to roll out its flexible solutions for today's changing IT challenges, digital data storage requirements and complex corporate networks.

In addition to the new commercial strategy seminars, Dell showcased it latest innovative commercial and consumer products; the long-awaited lightest convertible Tablet PC specifically designed for the education, healthcare and corporate market-place, Latitude notebooks, Vostro desktops, Precision workstations, XPS systems, LCD monitors and PowerEdge blade chassis and servers.

The tour included major European capitals and cities like Dublin, Mainz, Prague, Vienna, Düsseldorf, Kolding, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Warsaw, Poznan, Budapest, Sofia, Athens, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Lisbon, Lausanne, Zurich, Brussels, Amsterdam, Moscow and London.
