Ghassan Ejjeh, director of Besix, the told MEED's Wastewater Treatment & Reuse 2007 conference in Abu Dhabi that the project including the operations would be worth about Dhs3bn ($800m).

Degremont is leading the construction. Besix will be responsible for the sewerage network construction.
