Golf club general manager Michael Braidwood presented the cheque to Dreena Rogers, liaison office of Bahrain Mobility International (BMI), the charity chosen to benefit from the team's efforts.
Each member of the 16-person team ran an average of 3km each in the race and they came in 129th overall.
"A fantastic number of our members offered to sponsor our team," explained Braidwood. "BMI is a charity with which we have been very involved over the past few years and so were the natural choice to receive the sponsorship money. We hope they will find this donation useful in continuing to provide invaluable services to the disabled people of Bahrain."
