Durrat Al Bahrain signs BD2.9m deal with Al Sayyar to supply exclusive German ceramics

Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom's largest planned luxury mixed-use residential, commercial and resort development, today announced that is has appointed Al Sayyar, the Bahraini based company, to exclusively supply bathroom ceramics from the leading German companies, Villeroy & Boch and Ronan Dietsche, in a deal worth BD2.9m.

The agreement will see Al Sayyar supplying the $6bn project with bathroom ceramics from the world-renowned companies Villeroy & Boch and Ronan Dietsche, European brands synonymous with luxury and modern design appeal. Durrat Al Bahrain intends to fit ceramics from both companies throughout its entire range of villas, to ensure its home-owners and visitors experience contemporary design from the world's leading ceramic companies; companies which between them have shaped international design trends for more than 250 years.

Durrat Al Bahrain is owned by the Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain Company, in which the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain each hold a 50% stake.
