King Abdullah Economic City hosts business delegation from Australia

Emaar, The Economic City (Emaar.E.C), the Tadawul-listed company developing King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), recently hosted a delegation of business companies from the Australian State of Queensland led by Mike Ahern, the former Premier.

They toured KAEC and evaluated various investment opportunities offered by the mixed-use development.

Dr Abdulraouf Mannaa, Managing Director and CEO, and Ahmed Linjawy, Executive Director for City Management and External Relations, Emaar.E.C, welcomed the delegation comprising senior executives of different Australian companies with interests in various economic sectors.

KAEC is an ideal platform for investments in a number of sectors and offers unique opportunities to investors from different parts of the world.

Mike Ahern said that the investment opportunities presented by KAEC will play a key role in strengthening business ties between Saudi Arabia and Australia.

KAEC has six key components - the Sea Port, Industrial Zone, Central Business District (including the Financial District), Resort District, Educational Zone and Residential Communities. Construction of the first phase including the Industrial Zone, Sea Port, Resorts and Residential communities is in progress, while sales of residential units and the leasing of the Industrial plots have started to strong investor response.
