"HP is the Technology Partner for Dubai Film Festival this year and is a key technology enabler behind the digital entertainment and movie industry. The HP Pavilion Elite m9000 is the latest entertainment PC in HP's wide portfolio of entertainment products. With advanced digital entertainment and gaming technologies and a range of unique features, the m9000 combines both style and substance,"
said Elena Danici, Category Manager for Consumer Products, PSG, HP Middle East.
Powerful Intel or AMD processors, together with an infrared remote, optional TV tuner and personal video recorder, and optional Blu-ray/HD-DVD drive provide incredible performance and a first-class entertainment experience. Movies, games, videos and photographs are brought to life with bold, vibrant images and immersive sound, courtesy of advanced high-end graphics.
With up to two hard disc drives, consumers can conveniently store their entire portfolio of movies, music and photographs in one place.
Additional storage is available with two bays for the HP Personal Media Drive and HP Pocket Media Drive (sold separately), which dock into the PC for easy file back-up and transfer, as well as sharing media quickly and easily between different PCs. For added peace of mind, the HP Easy Backup button, a simple to use one-touch back-up button, located on the front of the chassis, and intuitive software add an increased layer of security, with automatic duplication of consumer's media and personal files.
The new design includes a range of unique features for increased ease of use, developed using the insight from worldwide research into consumer habits and preferences. Following evidence that the majority of consumers store their desktop tower on the floor, the aqua white power button and memory card reader slot are conveniently positioned at the top of the chassis. A unique recessed landing pad for USB and 1394 devices, located on the top of the PC, provides handy storage for devices such as MP3 players or digital cameras. The recessed area has easy access to front and rear USB connection ports and routes electrical cables neatly to the back of the tower.
The piano black and stainless silver exterior is complemented by a unique Imprint pattern, typically found on HP's newest notebook PCs. Smooth circular lines across the belt of the tower provide a modern feel, aligned in style with the latest luxury consumer accessories and creating consistency between HP's desktop, notebook and monitors line-up. To preserve the sleek, streamlined appearance, USB ports and other connectors are housed behind a discreet door on the front of the chassis. A host of wireless features and peripherals including WLAN, remote control, keyboard and mouse also minimise clutter.
To complete the stylish package, HP's latest widescreen monitors and keyboards are complementary in appearance, featuring the same sleek piano black finish and a range of intuitive features including a floating display aesthetic and keyboard parking.
