Kuwait penalises pregnancy

Kuwait's Ministry of Education has unveiled two new rules aimed at female teachers, following talks with the Civil Service Commission, reported the Kuwait Times. The ministry will not employ any teachers who are pregnant, while no female teacher will be permitted to get pregnant during her first year of service. The new stipulations will be added to employment contracts.
