The innovative form of home lighting uses LED (light-emitting diodes) as against the conventional incandescent lamp or the compact florescent lamps (CFL) also features an intuitive remote control color pad.

The LivingColor LED Lamp comes with 4-light-emiting diodes, a first in the industry.

Nilesh Khalkho-Director, Sharaf DG, said "We are delighted to introduce Philip's latest innovation in the UAE market. At Sharaf DG our mission is to enhance the lifestyle of our consumers by bringing them the latest and best in terms of cutting edge technology products. The Philips' LivingColours launch exclusively at the store is another step in that direction.

Sharaf DG offers widest range of lighting products besides a whole range of electronics products in various categories.

The LivingColors are available at Sharaf DG stores in IBN Batuta Mall, Times Square Center and Deira City Centre.

LivingColors can display an infinite range of colors. By choosing a particular lighting effect inside your home you can change the atmosphere so that it matches your mood and suits the occasion. The emotion that a light color evokes is dependent on personal taste. Blue light creates a cool, serene atmosphere for many people, while for others the same color can provide warmth and a more intimate setting.

The characteristics of light can have a particular effect on the atmosphere in a room. LivingColors appeals to the heart rather than to the head. You can use lighting to create the right atmosphere when watching television, for a romantic dinner or for visits by friends.

Interior reflects personality

LivingColors caters to people's ever-growing interest in self-expression. The interior of your home increasingly says something about your personality, just as clothing does. People are also seeking a better balance between work and private life. The home is a place where they can relax and recharge their batteries, both on their own and with family and friends. The home acts as a kind of refuge, or place for enjoyment.

The advanced remote control makes LivingColors simple to use. The dimmer enables the user to adjust the intensity of the light. The new lamps are designed with LEDs. Consequently, they last longer and consume less energy. The small size of LivingColors makes it really inconspicuous. It can be aimed at a wall or at a corner of a room, high or low and at any angle, lighting up the room in any color and at any intensity you like.
