- PRESS RELEASE
On the occasion of the official launch of Aquafina Pure Water in the Jordanian market, PepsiCo International held a press conference at its premises in Zarqa on December 10th, 2007.
Tareq Al Sakka, General Manager of PepsiCo Jordan greeted the media representatives attending the event, he said:" We are very proud that you join us today in launching Aquafina Pure Water. By introducing Aquafina to the Jordanian market, we will be providing state-of-the-art purification technology and world standard pure drinking water."
Aquafina water in the Middle East and Africa generally originates from the company's own natural wells and is then purified through a rigorous, seven-step purification process called Hydro-7™. This is a state-of-the-art, rigorous, seven-step purification process that includes reverse osmosis and other filtering methods to remove substances like chlorides and salts that can affect water's taste.
Al Sakka briefed the press on all product attributes and reiterated that Aquafina water is purified in line with the highest technological standards. He also pointed that Aquafina is the number one drinking PET bottled water in the USA and has major market share in Egypt, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman and the Far East.
