UAE Ministry of State for FNC Affairs hosts workshop on excellence standards for government employees

The UAE Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) hosted a workshop on the excellence standards for government employees in association with the Dubai Institute of Human Resources Development.
The discussion, which illustrates the Ministry's practical application of the Say & Do programme unveiled by MFNCA in November, aimed at providing employees with the methodology to achieve tangible standards of excellence in accordance with the Sheikh Khalifa Programme for Excellence. These international standards focus on boosting efficiency and work productivity. That workshop also included special activities to enhance team spirit and encouraging environment within the Ministry.
The speakers elaborated on international time management and tools and techniques for establishing priorities. It also stressed on the importance of strategic planning as the back bone of the success of individuals and organizations.
Tarek Lootah, Secretary-General of MFNCA, who heads the 'Say & Do Programme', said: "We are committed to developing the leadership skills and administrative abilities of our employees to enhance their performance and empower them to achieve excellent standards at the work place. The workshop is part of the 'Say and Do' programme based on the international standards outlined by the Sheikh Khalifa Programme for Excellence, and aims at empowering our team and reiterating the culture of excellence in the ministry."
