Qatar eyes smaller planes

Qatar Airways could purchase smaller sized aircraft manufactured by the likes of Mitsubishi, Bombardier and Embraer to use specifically on its intra Gulf routes, reported The Peninsula. The carrier is considering buying 100 seater planes and is looking at 2013 for the start of delivery. Qatar Airways could look to buy ten planes initially with a further ten as an option.
