DAE sells Landmark unit

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) is to sell Landmark Aviation's airport services arm for $436m to US based private equity firms GTCR Golder Rauner and Encore FBO, reported Emirates Business 24/7. DAE acquired Landmark Aviation alongside Standard Aero from The Carlyle Group for $1.9bn in early August. DAE is retaining the maintenance, repair and overhaul part of Landmark's business and the transaction is likely to be completed in Q1 2008.
