Damas, the leading international jewellery retailer in the Middle East, has commanded strong presence in Areeq - The Luxury Watch and Jewellery Boutique, the new sub-show of the region's most prestigious trade event for jewellery and watches.
In a special walk-through of the expansive Damas pavilion in Areeq Dubai, Tamjid Abdullah, Deputy Managing Director of Damas, said: "We are always in search of the finest jewellery and watches across the globe as we believe our clients deserve nothing less. This year we are proud to present a formidable lineup of top international names that promise to add luster to the City of Gold. Some of the featured creations here are being shown in Dubai for the first time."
The international jewellery house provided a great opportunity for fashion aficionados of Dubai to catch a rare glimpse of the best collections in one luxurious setting. Elegant models parading at the Damas Les Exclusives Lounge were seen wearing the latest creations from some of the world's top jewellery houses.
The 26 brands featured in the event include Carrera Y Carrera, Roberto Coin, Fope, Stefan Hafner, Roberta Porrati, Io Si and La Nouvelle Bague, Daniel K, Baraka, Mikimoto, Faberge, Rosato, Mimi Pearls, Genero, Luca Carati, Marco Bicego, Mangiarotti, Annamaria Cammilli, Tiffany & Co. and Paspaley for jewellery; and Perellet, Pasquale Bruni, Precious, Parmigiani, Jacquet Droz and Sarcar for watches.
"The International Jewellery Week is the ideal platform to reinforce Dubai's position as an international hub of jewellery design, manufacture and sales. Since its inception, we have seen how this trade event has contributed to the success of what has become a multibillion dollar industry. With our participation this year, we gathered new insights on our business, our markets and the jewellery industry in general," Abdullah added.
Brand principals from top names such as Mikimoto, Rosato, Mimi, Fope, Stefan Hafner, Carrera Y Carrera graced the event and were on hand to introduce their respective brands and collections to visitors. Adding glitter to the 3-day expo are special activities organized by the international jewellery house.
