AXA Gulf won the People's Choice award for being the 'Best Insurance Provider' at the 2007 Autocar Middle East Awards.
This is the third time that AXA has won the award. Customers selected their favourite insurance provider based on their experience with buying insurance - customer support, region wide assistance and competitive premiums. The voting was made via fax back forms and online through the Autocar website.

"The people's choice award is a tremendous achievement and on behalf of the AXA team, I would like to thank all our clients and all the people who have supported us through their votes." comments Julien Audrerie, Head of Operation Personal Lines & Regional Marketing Manager for AXA Gulf.

"Improving customer satisfaction is one of our main focus areas to become the preferred company in our industry. It's nice to see people recognizing our efforts to distinguish ourselves from others."

The online poll for various categories including 'Favourite Car', 'Best Dealer' and 'Best Insurance Provider' was open for the public to cast their votes on the Autocar website for over a two month period. Awareness for this online poll was spread through an intensive media campaign covering the radio, advertisements in the Autocar Middle East magazine published by The Media Factory and promotions at the Emarat petrol stations.

Xavier Veyry, AXA Gulf Chief Operating Officer for the Service Unit explains that "When our clients have an accident, we want to help them in their hour of need. To make life more convenient, we now have the service of 'Opening claims over the phone and AXA's unique Valet service which all allows clients to have a replacement car delivered to them whilst their car is at the garage. Additionally, we are now working as well on different shifts to make sure that we are faster in authorizing repairs."

AXA Gulf recently opened its AXA Service unit in Dubai's Outsourcing Zone marking a significant move to make the motor claim process simpler and more customer-friendly. Clients no longer need to trudge to the AXA Offices. Everything can be done over the phone with delivery at one's doorstep.

"The 2007 Autocar award of Best Insurance Provider is not just recognition for us," continues Julien, "We see it as a request from our many satisfied customers for AXA Gulf to continue to keep its commitment to the region with good quality, customer-friendly insurance solutions. We promise to uphold their trust in us!"

"This award shows us that we are in the right track." continues Julien. "That said, we know we are not perfect. But thanks to innovation, product differentiation and word class solutions in our processes, we constantly thrive to improve the quality of our clients' relation. Be available when clients need us, attentive to their problem and reliable, should make us win the people awards next year as well!"
