John Halpin joins SCLG Executive Committee

Hy -Tech Logistics General Manager, John Halpin, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Supply Chain Logistics Group and will take up the role of Vice President of Marketing.

SCLG is a non-profit organisation established to promote the cause of supply chain & logistics in the Middle East. The group creates opportunities for education, training, seminar and networking among like minded professionals and corporations on a global basis. The group operates with the legal backing of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Speaking after his election John said "This is a great honor and I am looking forward to contributing to the SCLG and to working closely on the Executive Committee with my esteemed colleagues from the industry"

"There is a wealth of experience from a diverse range of industry sectors on the new Executive Committee, but we all share the same goals in terms of raising awareness of the important role good supply chain management plays in every aspect of the economy and of setting standards of excellence for the achievement of our objectives" added Halpin.

The Supply Chain Logistics Group mission is, to provide an accessible, dynamic, professional networking environment that facilitates the achievement of professional, educational, and personal goals by members of SCLG community in an atmosphere that encourages professional development, diversity, and innovation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The SCLG Executive Committee works in close coordination with Board of Advisors and Consultative Committee members to direct implementation of agreed strategies necessary to foster the supply chain and logistics community in the region.
