Air Arabia chief backs Mideast

Adel Ali, the CEO of Sharjah's Air Arabia, has said the Middle East's aviation sector is 'poised for significant, sustained growth'. Ali said the region's fleet of over 600 planes is the youngest in the world, while the Middle East also has more planes on order than other area. Ali stressed the budget segment was in good shape with one in every eight commercial flights being flown by a low-cost carrier.
