Iraq's Acting Transport Minister Bangen Rekani has told our sister publication Meed that the war-torn country plans to sell stakes in three of Iraqi Airways' units next year in a bid to raise $100m. The sections likely to go under the hammer are the ground handling, maintenance and catering units and holdings of up to 65% are likely to be offered. The carrier is looking to buy ten planes from Boeing.
