The agreement was signed on behalf of Thuraya by the Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Sabah Al Kudies, and for Horizon, its' Managing Director Mr. Browning Rockwell.
The agreement is focused on the roll-out of ThurayaDSL, Fleet Management, PCOs and hand-held phones. According to the agreement, customized projects by key sectors such as transport, humanitarian, security, media, oil and gas and government which function within the footprint of Thuraya's coverage area will be in place in the first quarter of 2008.
"This agreement is a breakthrough for distributing Thuraya products and is part of Thuraya's ongoing strategy to tap and expand business in new markets. We are very confident that Horizon will significantly promote the sale of Thuraya products to several vital US sectors,"
commented Mr. Sabah Al Kudies, Chief Commercial Officer of Thuraya.
He also added that the diversity of Thuraya products being distributed by Horizon will ensure wide spread demand from targeted industries.

The deal will help to grow sales of Thuraya products to US multi-nationals and public organizations operating in different parts of the world, increase air-time and raise brand awareness of Thuraya in the US market.
