KIA Motors UAE distributor wins Gold Medal at the KIA Regional Skill World Cup 2007

Juma al Majid Est. Technicians (The service division of Al Majid Motors Co. - the sole distributor of KIA vehicles in the UAE) won the Gold Medal at the 2007 KIA Regional Skill World Cup conducted by KIA Motors Regional Head Quarter in Dubai.
On congratulating the winners during the awarding ceremony, Mr. Y. K. Park, President of KIA Motors Middle East & Africa Regional Head Quarter said, "I am delighted to be among all of you to celebrate the great dedication and hard work you have shown that has contributed so much to the success of Kia Motors. Without your commitment and dedication, our future would not be as bright as it is today. On behalf of everyone at Kia Motors Corporation, I offer my sincere congratulations to all the winners."
This competition held at the KIA Training center in Ras Al Khor work shop came as a part of the bi-annual Global competition that Kia Motors is conducting among its distributors around the world. The winner will represent the Middle East & African region in the Global Skill World Cup to be held in Korea Next Year.

A total of 11 national winners from 8 dealers - 8 top dealers from different Middle East & African region -- were selected to be the participants of this program and UAE won 2 medals - gold and bronze medal. The evaluation consists of theoretical and practical tests where the participants' skills were tested in areas related to engine trouble shooting and repair, automatic transmission trouble shooting and repair, electrical system trouble shooting and repair.
