DNRD honors its distinguished employees

The Department of Naturalization & Residency in Dubai (DNRD) honored its distinguished staff members, strategic partners from both public and private sectors and members of media at its annual award ceremony held in the Police officers club in Garhoud today.

The event which is organized by the DNRD highlights the outstanding achievements of its staff from all positions and sectors, in addition to honoring the organizations that contributed to the success of the various campaigns and services in 2007. Entities from both the public sector such as the Ministry Of Interior, Dubai Courts, Municipality, Dubai Police, Public Persecution, DEWA, ENDP, Empost, Dubai E-government and Ministry of Labor, in addition to the private sector represented by supporters of DNRD events, tourism companies and other suppliers, as well as media were also honored at the event along with consulates and other companies.

The ceremony was attended by a host of guests headed by Major General Mohameed Bin Salem Al Khaili General Director of Public Naturalization & Residency Department ,General Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri Director of DNRD, Colonel Obaid Muhair Bin Suroor, Deputy Director of DNRD, and Colonel Salah bin Salloum Head of air and land ports sector and a number of key officials and staff.

'We are here to thank our partners who teach us the value of teamwork & integration in the way of success toward shared vision for our country', said Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri, Director of DNRD.

'The excellence way is very long & we are only at the beging , therefore I want everyone honored this morning to double the effort in 2008 because we are competing for the first time in DGEP as astrong competitors for the award ', Al-Marri added.

Ali Mohamed Bin Thabawi an officer in the Department of Entry Permit at DNRD was deeply delighted to be honored. He expressed his feeling by saying: 'My special formula for success gave me the positive results for the second time ( A former winner of Ideal employee award in 2005), it is a combination of speed & quality in client servicing, and that's led me again to the Distinguished employee this year'.

Ali Bin Khatim The Director of Naturalization & Residency persecution reaffirmed the need for fruitful cooperation between the different public departments and authorities, saying: 'Due to our shared responsibility with DNRD in implementing the regulations & laws of labors we took an advance step ahead of solving any expected issues which may threat the legal situation in our country'.

A representative of Alpha Tours company commented on the event: 'we are proud of being partners for DNRD and honoring us has compounded responsibility and kept us on a challenge of coming to be on the rostrum next year.'
