Qatar receives Boeing 777

Qatar Airways has taken delivery of its second Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, following the arrival of its first on November 29, reported The Peninsula. The two planes are presently being utilised on local Gulf based flights but they will be switched to the carrier's 14 hour non-stop Washington route next month. The third of 32 Boeing 777s on order will be delivered next summer.
