Nahar eyes Middle East

Nahar Retail, the wholly-owned arm of the Ludhiana-based Nahar Industrial Enterprises (NIEL), is planning to open its stores in the Middle East. The company is exploring partners who can set up stores through franchisee routes. Currently, Nahar Retail, which started the Cotton County apparel retail chain three years ago, has 400 stores in 300 cities.
