Hill Intl Wins Two Contracts worth $10.1m in the UAE

Construction consulting firm Hill International Inc. said it had received two long-term project management contracts in the UAE totaling about $10.1m reported AP. The company was awarded a contract from Escape to provide project management services during the construction of The Escape, an upscale residential community. The $490m project covers an area of 8.3 million square feet. The nearly three-year contract has an estimated value of about $3.7m. Construction is scheduled to begin in March and set to be complete by December 2010.

Hill International also received a five-year contract from the Al Ain municipality in the UAE to provide project management services for a $163m irrigation plan.

The contract has an estimated value of $6.4m.Construction is expected to begin in January 2009 and be completed by January 2013.
