Samsung introduces the best-fit mono laser printer for SMB users

Samsung Electronics, the world's second largest laser printer manufacturer, has introduced its monochrome laser printer ML-3470 series targeting small to medium-sized businesses.

The ML-3471 combines high performance with fast speed and economical reliability to give all the SMB consumers more output for less.

The upgraded version of the previous ML-3050 which has been named '2006 Pick of the Year' by the Buyer Laboratory, ML-3470 and 3471 accentuate more quality, efficiency and convenience than ever before.

Offering 50,000 pages, the highest maximum monthly duty of any printers on the market, the ML- 3471 exceeds all expectations and prints 33 pages per minute (PPM). Covering the higher level segment of the SMB market, the ML-3471 has a 400 MHz Processor that tackles small to extra large printing jobs quickly and efficiently.

The ML-3471 has enhanced economic features for SMB users. The highest toner capacity with of 4,000 pages per regular toner and 10,000 pages per high yield toner save trouble and money for SMB. Because the ML-3471 offers the lowest CPP than any of its competitors, the longer it is used, the more one can save. Also, the 'toner saver button' makes it even more convenient for users, saving up to 40% on toner usage.

For enhancing consumers convenient, Samsung Electronics has standardized the Duplex feature. Samsung has further significantly reduced the noise level to 52dB by decreasing the friction of smaller mechanics within the system. ML-3471 also supports the Windows Vista and other various Linux and Windows environments, and will not need any updates to the firmware.

Other optional features include the wired network, wireless network card, dual network capability, bringing mobility to the printers for everyone to connect. The ML- 3471 also offers increased paper input capacity of an extra 250 sheets with the SCF.
