Rohit D'silva appointed General Manager of Fox International Channels Middle East

Fox International Channels (FIC) announced the promotion of Rohit D'silva to General Manager of Fox International Channels Middle East.

D'silva will assume his new role effective immediately and will report to Zubin Gandevia, President FIC South East Asia & Middle East.

In his new role, D'silva will have overall responsibility for the FIC and National Geographic Channel business in the Middle East, including managing the existing operations (National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Adventure and Fox Sports) and expanding the FIC channel portfolio in the region.

D'silva's promotion follows a three-and-a-half year tenure at FIC and its sister company National Geographic Channels in the Middle East & India. Said Gandevia: 'Rohit has consistently met his mandates in the past and is the right person to step in and spearhead FIC's next wave of growth in the region.'

Before joining FIC in 2004, D'silva held positions in different companies in India including Radio City 91.1FM and Gillette.
