ENOC partners with Palm Utilities

ENOC's subsidiary, Leading Edge Technology Services (LETS) is now part of one of the most promising and futuristic utility services project in the UAE.
Mr. Saeed Khoory, ENOC Group CEO on the new partnership said: "We are thrilled to partner with Palm Utilities. This agreement not only provides LETS with a strong foothold in a rapidly expanding services sector, but we are also helping Palm Utilities to implement cost-effective air cooling methods for residential and commercial developments in the region."
According to the agreement, LETS will provide implementation services for Palm Utilities' Oracle Customer Care & Billing Systems as well as its two subsidiary companies, Palm Water and Palm District Cooling (PDC). The contract will cover implementation, training, documentation, integration, reports & printing solutions and cash point installations to successfully deliver CRM & Billing projects as well as to assist Palm Utilities to achieve their business objectives.
Upon signing the recent deal with ENOC's subsidiary, Mr Keith Levers, Chief Operating Officer, Palm Utilities commented: "District cooling is increasingly being accepted as the way forward with the mounting cost of energy and prevailing environmental concerns. We chose LETS to provide state-of-the-art technology solutions based on their experience in implementing similar projects in the region. We are confident that LETS will complement the efforts of Palm Utilities to emerge as the preferred utility services provider for the future."
Palm Utilities has five plants in operation and its order book comprises 14 new projects, serving various prestigious developments in Dubai including the iconic Palm Islands. With the pace of planned development in the UAE, district cooling will require a capital investment of around Dhs45bn over the next 10 years providing a total capacity of about 10 million tones.
