Absal signs deal with SFC

Absal Group of Companies has signed a deal with Saudi French Company to establish a tannery and production of leather goods in Saudi Arabia, reported Khaleej Times. Mohammed Al Shoail, president of Absal Group, said the new venture will be named Safy Universal Company and will manufacture wet blue leather sheets, which are used to produce shoes, bags, and other leather products. Seventy per cent of the manufactured items will be exported to countries in Europe, and sales outlets will be opened in some European capitals.
