Travco Group International expands in Europe

Travco Group International announced the opening of its representative office in Frankfurt, Germany.

"The Frankfurt office will be in full operation as of this month, January 2008, and will be managed by Mr. Acquilim Schoemig," announced chairman and CEO Hamed El Chiaty.

Mr. Schoemig bears more than 28 years of experience in the travel industry, and was most recently the Director of Branches in South Germany for TUI Leisure Travel GmbH. With plans to initiate further expansion in Europe, this office will cover Austria and Switzerland in addition to Germany.

Upon its launch, the Frankfurt office will mark Travco Group's eleventh international office, and the first in Europe. This will be adding to the group's soaring success in expanding internationally while focusing on key feeder Markets around the world.

"With the opening of this new office, Travco Group will now have the opportunity to further promote its hotels, resorts, and cruises amongst renowned tour operators and travel agencies, as well as creating an awareness for the company's hospitality brand JAZ; which includes the luxury JAZ Resorts, Iberotel Hotels & Resorts as well as Sol Y Mar Resorts, in addition to JAZ Cruises and Travcotels Nile Cruises" explained El Chiaty."


"Following the expected success of the Frankfurt office, the United Kingdom is set to witness the opening of the group's second office in Europe, which will be launched and operational by the 15th of February, 2008," adds El Chiaty.

The UK branch will be managed by Mr. Peter Grace, and is planning to cover the Ireland market and the Nordic countries as well.

These new openings are part of the ambitious expansion plan that has gained momentum with the opening of the new offices in Abu Dhabi and Oman last year with the Jordan office due to open in 2008. The expansions include a steadfast plan to open 20 more branches within Egypt over the upcoming three years, six of which are already underway and will be launched by 2008.
