- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, January 06 - 2008 at 13:48
- PRESS RELEASE
Registration centers of Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) provide a new service to the public, with typing offices working exclusively for EIDA to complete and print out the Registration Forms which are usually completed and printed by the public through EIDA website before visiting service centers to finalize other registration procedures.
Mr. Mohamed Swayeh Al Khaili, Director of Registration Centers Department at EIDA, said that EIDA introduced this new service in line its policy to enhance its services and gain the customers' satisfaction through provision of printing offices at all the permanent and temporary registration centers throughout the emirates and cities of the UAE, where such offices operate "exclusively" to complete and print EIDA registration forms.
Mr. Al Khaili said that this service fees are estimated at Dhs40, although it is still possible to complete the registration form on EIDA website (www.emiratesid.ae) and print them out before approaching service centers to finalize the remaining registration procedures, i.e. data verification, photos, signature and fingerprints. The main objective for rendering this service is to facilitate the registration process for citizens who wish to complete the registration application form through channels other than the Authority's website, especially for people who are not very well versed in using the internet.
