Leo Wittwer charms with its latest hand-crafted jewellery creations
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, January 07 - 2008 at 07:54
- PRESS RELEASE
Damas, the leading international jewellery retailer in the Middle East, recently celebrated the design excellence of Leo Wittwer through an exclusive gathering of friends and supporters at the Al Murjan Tea Lounge of Le Royal Meridien Dubai.
"Leo Wittwer offers an exciting array of beautifully made pendants, earrings, rings and bracelets which are meant to be worn everyday and suit every mood and occasion. These pieces are designed to be used and enjoyed all day and night long, their strength lies in their versatility. They add a nice touch to any fashion ensemble and complement the style of contemporary women," says Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director of Damas.
Founded in 1920, the family-run jewellery business based in Pforzheim, Germany has been producing exquisite jewels for nearly a century. Reiner Maier once represented Leo Wittwer, and bought out the company over 30 years ago. Since then Reiner and son Frank, who literally grew up in the factory, have been making jewellery in their own special way.
Reiner Maier cited, "All the jewellery is manufactured in our firm's production facility in Germany and is backed up by guarantees and certifications. Our jewels stand out as they are all hand-crafted. This means that close attention is given to every piece that comes out of our workshops, ensuring superior quality that cannot be achieved using industrial machines."
The house offers collections based around diamond solitaires and coloured stones, as well as one-off creations. The company treats its clients as friends and would go as far as customising pieces based on their tastes and preferences. It is the personal touch that makes the brand a cut above the rest.
The Leo Wittwer collections call to mind the core philosophy of the brand which is to create jewels that add pizzazz to everyday life. The signature look of the brand is classic yet very contemporary, underpinned by an obsession with quality. Any woman who wears these jewels will feel pampered by their luxurious finishes, indulgently large stones, smoothly polished surfaces of gold and the reassuring weight and size of the pieces. They go perfectly well with jeans and casual wear yet effortlessly accentuate the simple elegance of a little black dress.
Leo Wittwer jewellery is sold mainly through independent jewellery stores that are aligned with the Maiers' philosophy of providing the best personalised service to customers. In the Middle East, the brand has partnered with Damas owing to its integrity, deep understanding of clients and world-class customer service, values that both companies share.
Delight in Leo Wittwer's 2008 Collection now available at Saks Fifth Avenue Burjuman Centre, Damas Les Exclusive boutiques in Deira City Centre, Wafi, Festival City and Damas shops in Le Royal Meridien and One and Only Royal Mirage.
