Rezidor appoints first female Mid East GM

German, Erhardt has over three decades of hospitality industry experience and has been working with Rezidor since 1978 when she joined the Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel as Director of Housekeeping. She was later appointed City Director of Rooms in Copenhagen overseeing a total of 1070 guest-rooms across four properties. Her most recent position was General Manager of the Radisson SAS Hotel in Klaipeda, Lithuania.

"Cornelia's knowledge of the Radisson SAS brand will be a real asset to the property, particularly during the pre-opening phase," said Jean-Marc Busato, Area Vice President, The Rezidor Hotel Group.

"This will be our fourth Radisson UAE property and Cornelia will be responsible for strengthening our position as well as successfully launching our entry into the UAE's residential segment."

Radisson SAS Residence, Dubai Marina will have 152 luxury apartments including 22 studios and 130 one and two bedroom suites. The 20 floor residence has been designed by award-winning architects KEO International, which is behind some of the region's most prestigious hospitality and mixed-use developments and the interiors have been conceptualised by Milan's Matteo Nunziati.

The luxury development will also have a host of leisure and business facilities, including separate gymnasiums and swimming pools for men and women, children's play area, free high-speed internet access, express laundry service upon request and secure underground parking.
