Rezidor appoints first female Mid East GM

Brussels-based The Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed its first female General Manager in the Middle East with Cornelia Erhardt taking the helm at Radisson SAS Residence, Dubai Marina - the group's first luxury residence in the Emirates, which is due to open in the second quarter of this year.
"Cornelia's knowledge of the Radisson SAS brand will be a real asset to the property, particularly during the pre-opening phase," said Jean-Marc Busato, Area Vice President, The Rezidor Hotel Group.
"This will be our fourth Radisson UAE property and Cornelia will be responsible for strengthening our position as well as successfully launching our entry into the UAE's residential segment."
Radisson SAS Residence, Dubai Marina will have 152 luxury apartments including 22 studios and 130 one and two bedroom suites. The 20 floor residence has been designed by award-winning architects KEO International, which is behind some of the region's most prestigious hospitality and mixed-use developments and the interiors have been conceptualised by Milan's Matteo Nunziati.
The luxury development will also have a host of leisure and business facilities, including separate gymnasiums and swimming pools for men and women, children's play area, free high-speed internet access, express laundry service upon request and secure underground parking.
