Dubai editors to monitor newspapers

Editors in Chief of local newspapers in Dubai are setting up a committee to follow up the implementation of the journalist code of ethics, reported Gulf News. The committee, which will be chaired by Saeed Al Badi, Board member of the UAE Journalists Association, will monitor the newspapers to ensure the implementation of the code of ethics, without having censorship authority.
