Online shopping grows in Saudi

A new survey by the Arab Advistors Group has found that Internet users in Saudi Arabia spent over $3.28bn in e-commerce in 2007, reported Al Bawaba. Nearly half of the e-commerce users said they purchased products and services online and through their mobile handsets over the past 12 months. The survey estimates that e-commerce users in Saudi Arabia will exceed 3.5 million consumers, representing 14.26% of the population.
