Montreux mayor discusses tourism issues with bin Sulayem

The Director General of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem, received Mr. Pierre Salvi, Mayor of Montreux City in Switzerland, and Mr. Juma Al Majid, Chairman of Juma Al Majid Centre for Culture, at the DTCM Head Office on Monday.
Mr. Pierre was also briefed about the DTCM initiatives and the role of DTCM's Representation Office in Switzerland. Mr. bin Sulayem informed him about various marketing and promotional programmes of DTCM and measures taken up by Dubai government to strengthen the position of the emirate as the world's leading destination.
The department also organized a familiarization tour for Mr. Pierre during which he visited various projects of Emaar and Nakheel in addition to touring the Dubai Financial Market and Burj Al Arab.
Mr. bin Sulayem presented him a memento.
Montreux is a resort city on Europe's largest lake, Lake Geneva.
